i was wondering, is it illegal for me to ask a yahoo!answer question about whether people would buy something from an internet store. I guess i'll go look it up if no one here knows the answer. But if you do know, PLEASE tell me.

You cannot use Answers to tout your business. No advertising or soliciting. But you can ask whether people would buy such and such an item through an internet store, or ask if a certain internet store is a safe place to buy from...stuff like that.

Why should it be illegal? You would ask about a real store if you wanted to make sure it was legit and reliable. Why can't you do the same about e-stores. And the Internet is the fastest way to spread the word about any business or person that is unreliable.

Is quite legal. Is a business, as long as its legal kind of business.

This is just a survery, why not?

But please please do not do this for the sake of getting attention or advertising... it may cause unwanted results.
