# means sharp, that means if you play an F note, the F# note is the next note higher (actaully called a half-step in music terms). to play an f and b note: f = 1st fret on the highest sounding (high e) string on the guitar. should be the bottom string if you're strumming with your right hand.

b = play the second highest sounding string (second from bottom, "b" string) . also there is the b marking meaning flat it's the opposite of a sharp (the next note lower)

hope this helps, don't give up

# means sharp, what ever note it is it gets raised by half a step.
simpliest way to play an F on the guitar is the first string,(highest)first fret.
Therefore the second fret would be F#.
To play a B it would be the second string open.
Hope this helps
