It all depends upon your height. But, I would have to say anything below 100 is bad.

Actually it depends on more than height, it also depends on bone structure as well.
Throwing all of that out the door. For a woman, if you can see even a hint of her ribcage, she's too skinny.
You should not be able to see a hint of ribcage on a woman. Even a woman who works out heavily will not show her ribs, but instead muscle.
If you can see the ribs, then she's anorexic and starving herself, plain and simple.
3-5 pounds over what a doctor considers optimum weight is about right. 10 pounds over is pushing it, it all depends on bone structure and how the woman carries the weight. But never underweight as the charts the doctors use are already on the minimum side.
Most of the hollywood females you see in the star rags are anorexic. Your body doesn't even function properly when your as skinny as some of them. Someone like Nicole Richie probably can't even have a period she's so underfed.
A woman who is too skinny cannot even carry a baby to full term. And for that matter she will find it very difficult to even get pregnant as the period stops flowing usually.

I was always incredibley thin for my height when I was at school I was about 6ft tall and only 9 stone! (I'm a chap btw)
My mother had taken me to the doctor when I was younger to see if there was something wrong with me.
I could eat cream cakes, chocolate, Fatty dinners and never gain weight.
When I got older I Started smoking and now I have stopped smoking 2 1/2 years ago I have finally put on weight!
Although I must start to think about my diet as I will be getting overweight if I don't watch it!
If you are looking for your correct height to weight ratio, If you goto Boots the chemist they have some clever scales in store and they measure your wieght as well as height etc and give you the correct body weight for you!
Hope that helps!

Like other people have said, it depends on how tall you are. Calculating your Body Mass Index (BMI) will give you an idea of how healthy your weight is:
Take your weight in kilograms and divide it by the square of your height in metres.
e.g. If you weigh 50kg and measure 1m 63, your BMI would be 50/(1.63)squared = 18.8.
If your BMI comes out at under 18, you are said to be underweight. Hope this has helped!

It all depends on height. Start with 100 lbs for a 5 ft. tall female and add 5 lbs for every inch over 5 foot. I'm 5'7" and should weigh 135.
