Okay, my girls will not be allowed to date until they are 16. Which means the boy they date will probably be 16 to 18 years old. Although my husband and I are 5 years apart in age.

This is a personal choice for parents. If they think their children are mature enough and educated enough about sex then whenever. In my personal opinion, I don't think that kids should date, one on one, until they're about 15 or 16. But like I said, it'll depend on the maturity of my boys at those ages. If they still act like 12 year olds, then no. But if I feel they're responsible enough to make good decisions, then sure.
