which leaf springs can I use for my '78 corolla instead of the original ones?do the ones of a Chevy nova fit?

Factors in a "Leaf Spring" -
Length (overall and eyelet to eyelet) = xxxx
Width (from edge to edge) = xxxx
number of leaf's viz: Weight capacity = xxxxx

If the "Nova" is the same in all of those then yeah they will work.
If the number of leaf's is more, or the weight is more, it will raise the ride height (in some cases a LOT) - and that may or may not work - over 2 or three inches and your weight transfer (cornering) has changed significantly.
Changing your height too much, or a spring that is too long, or too wide will not work.

1978 was before GM made the Nova into a Corolla clone. I do not expect them to work. You can probably have a truck spring shop make you new springs if you want a performance upgrade.
