How much do you love Musical theater?
Can you quote lines from them, do you listen to the soundtracks in the car or home, do you see your favorite show oh, 5 time for example, do you dream about preforming on stage just once if you could?
I am the biggest fam of musical theater, I can answert questions, and renact scenes on a whim.
You are not alone. I'm there with you.
Let me guess, Wicked is your current favorite, I want to be Boq or Feyro someday. but my current dream is Leaf Conneybear from Spelling Bee.

Sweeney Todd and Jackel and Hyde (neither of which I've seen or heard any song from, but I'm soooooo close to the cds). I love musicals. I like the singing and dancing and exhilaration of it all. I'm always in tears however many times I see Eponine die or Horton sing about Solla Sollew. Not that I have big plans to act on Broadway--I could never be that good. And community theatres are somewhat better than broadway because we dont know what we're doing half the time, and you also have more freedom than the scripted Broadway. Theatre offers everything.
My favorite role I wish to play: the Ringleader in Sideshow

I love Broadway and musical movies.
From Chicago to the Color Purple.
I love Wicked, Spamalot, Cats & Lion King
But I love musical movies like any Disney movies, Funny Girl, Mary Poppins, Guys and Dolls, King and I, West Side Story(my favorite movie), Oliver, The Phantom of the Opera and so much more.

Well, that depends, are you a silly fangirl who doesn't really know anything about musical theater outside of "audience-friendly" musicals like Rent, Wicked and Phantom? If so then yes I do like it as much as you, more so actually.
But then again, if you like Sweeney Todd then the above might not apply to you. That is where your favorite character is from.

Sweeny Todd is definitely a goodie. I just saw the revival on Broadway.
I love musical theater. Thankfully I live and work in NYC so I get to see all the shows.

MEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! I want to go see Wicked so bad!!! But a) I can't drive and b) I don't think my parents will take me on a 3-4 hour drive to go see a maybe 2 hr. long musical and back. But I want to be in the "Be Wicked" contest. If only I could.
I saw Hairspray once....I loved it!! Our school's chorus went a few years ago because the director wanted us to see it after we sang "You Can't Stop the Beat" for a concert. We were dancing and singing to it! lol fun fun My sister saw Phantom of the Opera and we listen to the songs a lot. so....yes I love musicals and I WANT TO BE ON BROADWAY!!!!!! (insert laughing fit here)

maybe it was a traumatic introduction of a bad play for a wide eyed newbie.......but when i saw the opera musical Madame Butterfly, my brain cells went bust and if i were to remain relatively sane in my young adult life, then please do keep that nasty stuff away from me .
plus, such gigs tend to be sickeningly borgeiouse , i could puke.......
