The US has the undisputed best bunch of guns on the planet and they are giving them to Israel. They hit targets within 3' (1 meter) . The weapons the US is supplying can almost turn corners while making coffe and giving directions to a lost family - while on route to it's target.
Israel is hitting a lot of unintended targets and saying opps later . One or two sure okay it happens but what are they up to now 50 boo boo's 100 .
Isn;t it a little hard to believe ? What the Americans sent them bombs with no instruction manual or for some strange reason they only got the French/Spanish version?
The last statistic that I read on the news was a week ago 600 Lebonese one third (200) of which were children and only a handfull of soldiers Where Israel's losses were 50 mostly soldiers. Reporting sourse was CBC (Canadian broadcasting coperation) The numbers have changed but the ratio remains the same.
So why do we even listen when they say opps - why are we buying it? The UN isn't

No, Israel isn't making a lot of mistakes (though definitely a few) when one considers that the enemy they are targeting (that would be Hezbollah) is planted throughout a civilian population.
And as far as weapon precisions go... weapons are no more precise than the human beings who fire them.
Also, you seem to be confusing cases of "missed targets and civilians were killed" vs. "correct targets and civilians still got killed".
Of the former, there seems to be very few. Of the later, see above.

Despite what the latest technology is capable of conflict is still conflict. Full of confusion,errors, panic, and brutality. It's a shame that states around the world break down to this but that is unfortunately what happens and these are the results. I don't know what level of precaution the Israelis use to avoid civilian casualties but no one can argue they at least take some measure unlike their neighbors. Terrible to say but they have to do what they have to do to protect themselves no matter how unpleasant.

Why doesn't Hizzbollah just stop firing their "schoolyard and neighborhood" rockets?
They want to divert attention from Iran, inflict as much "bad press" as they can against Israel who ALWAYS responds in the same fashion.
The "human shield" approach is common to most cowards who know they cannot prevail through conventional warfare.
