Communication. You need to talk to your friend about what you observe in your relationship. That in your opinion this is what your relationship has become. Talk about what expectations you have, what expectations your friend has. Talk about how you would like your friendship to be like. It is not uncommon or stupid to have a set of traffic-signs that you can follow in order to be able to drive both directions.

Depends on what you want. If you like one way deals, you don't need to do anything. If you want it to be two-way, begin to push in that direction. Chances are, you'll not get good results but give it a shot.
