Is there ever an age when its to young to shave ?

at what age should a girl shave her legs

I say she should be allowed to start shaving when she begins to feel self consious about her legs and/or under arms.Or at least around the age of 12

It depends when you hit puberty and how hairy you are. I think 10 is too young and a 11 is questionable. I didn't really have hairy legs till about 13. But my armpits i shaved at 12. Though honestly shaving your legs is an american ideal of beauty,most women only have a lot of hair if they shave often, the more u shave the thicker and darker it comes back. Before you shave the hair is usually soft and light colored, like the hair on your arms, its not that gross.

My mom didn't let me start shaving until I was about 14. I think by the age of 12 is a good age to start shaving, mainly because it's embarrassing running around with hairy legs.

I started shaving my legs in the 5th grade, but I am jewish and got cursed with the lots of dark hair gene so I pretty much had to. LOL

Whenever she feels she needs to. I think I first shaved my legs when I was about 12.
If you (or your girl) are very young, then it's probably safer to use hair removing cream than a razor.

my daughter shaves her legs and arms at 13. i wasn't allowed by my parents until i was 15.
i think you should begin to shave as soon as you need to, i mean when it matters not when the hair grows.
if your old enough to be bothered by it your old enough to get rid of it!
maybe a hair removal cream is kinder on younger skin. that's if your worried about a blade x

It is never to young to shave if there is body hair under the arms, on your legs, or in the pubic region providing you are careful, seek advice from your sister (if you have one) or your mother?

My girls shave abit and there 10 and 11.

Most girls start shaving anywhere from 5th to 8th grade. If you don't need to, don't! It becomes a hassle after a while!
