First off, you need to understand a little bit about pool evaporation. Your pool will evaporate more if the water temperature is WARMER than the air temperature. I doubt very much you are keeping your pool at 91 F or hotter, so we can pretty well rule out evaporation as your main loss of water. You've got a leak. In an average summer, with a pool kept at 82 F and the night air dropping to 70 F or so, an average pool will lose 1/2 to 1 inch of water a week, if there's no waterfall running and including the kiddie splash factor.

I had a foot of water in my wheelbarrow and it evaporated in two days.
To figure out what's normal I need to know how many gallons of water in the pool.
What's the surface area and depth of the pool.
And what was the temperature and barometric pressure during the week.

It depends on the ambient humidity. You've got a lot of surface area, and 90 degree can hold quite a bit of water vapor.
