The answer to your question is yes but only if it is really needed for instance if it is going to cause you problems either physical or mental. perhaps this is causing you severe depression if so talk to your doctor and explain how you are feeling and what you would like to do to help you feel better. I'm not saying it will be sorted straight away, remember this is the nhs but be patient and keep on at your doctor and you'll get there! Good Luck! x

yes it can be done - but it is not permanent, the procedure has to be repeated throughout life.
