1. Dan Marino, wasn't able to win the big one but made his mark on the NFL with his superb passing ability and QB awareness.
2. Joe Montana, won 3 Super Bowls and had an excellent pass rating.
3. Johny Unitas, no need to explan just look at his stats.

1.Dan Marino:I dont care what anyone says about him not having a title He played the game with no other weapons around him and he was a class act.
2.Johnny Unitas:He was a man among boys back in the day
3.Joe Montana:Was a hell of a QB under pressure.
4.Brett Farve:Any Qb that can play as many games as he has with all the Injuries hes had,has some toughness.Would be higher but is staying in the game to long.
5.Bart Starr:Great QB Ive only heard of him and the stories.

1. Dan Marino
2. Brett Favre
3. John Elway
4. Warren Moon (Yes everyone will argue, but I like to twist things up a bit.)
5. Johnny Unitas
I look at the record books... here is how I plead my case.
In Passing yards, attempts, completions, and TD passes Marino leads all of these categories with Favre in second. Favre is only 25 TD passes away from Marino.. and with 26 he takes the record. (with his new playbook this is VERY possible)
In career wins Favre is third... 9 behind Marino and 10 behind Elway.. If the Pack go 11-5 he take sthe record... (chances are pretty slim here, lol)
I count the CFL in Warren Moons career. 17 yrs in the NFL and had a brilliant career even though he was with various teams.
People believe that since he has stayed so long that they dont see him as one of the greats. Reminder that last season was his FIRST losing season in his career as a started

There are plenty that could also be added to this class, but I feel that these five are the best quarterbacks, and they all brought their own elements to the game and were very important to their respective teams.
