Yes.....and I also worry about all my loved ones too. I never really thought about death much when I was younger but after losing my mother at the age of 17 and her being the very first person that I actually really knew well...it really hit me hard. I have never been the same since. I read something once that went sort of like this....." we should not spend so much time worrying about death - that we forget to enjoy the life we should be living". As hard as it is I know.....we can't do anything to stop it from happening so we should just do our best to love those we hold dear and make sure that we have no grudges towards any of them for things that may have done or said that hurt us. And
in turn also make right any wrongs that we have done to others.

When I was much younger I was very afraid of dying particularly as I lost my mother, father (at a very young age), grandmother, aunt (who became my adopted mum) etc. However, now that I am older it doesn't seem to bother me that much any more. In fact...I see it as an opportunity to finally lie down and get some decent rest! LOL Strangely...my daughter has the same fears that I had at her age...so maybe it is an age related phobia. If anything...dying isn't the fear...it's leaving behind people that you love and worrying how they will cope with your leaving...now, that scares me!!!

This not a question. We are all going to die. The inevitable end for us all. How we are going to go is what we are afraid of. Every day I pray that I will live to see many things, that I learn many things, that I do good things, that I love all living things trees, mammals of every distinction and beings, no matter race, creed or color. I pray that I am smart enough to give my body all that it needs to last a long, long time. We should all pray that we are smart enough to respect each other, no matter what it is, who it is, how and where.. No one know when we will die, unless we have a terminal disease, and even then you can't be sure. But, if you live right, KNOW TO LEARN YOURSELF, LOVE YOURSELF, treat others with respect and dignity,AND WHEN IT IS YOUR TIME TO LEAVE THIS PLACE, YOU WILL DO IT WELL, NO MATTER HOW

everyone is afraid some because of the people the will leave behind. it's best if we would die in our sleep but we can't all go that way. Its some thing that we have to live with every day. be happy and enjoy what you. and live every like your last.

It really is harder to live than die, that is the coward way off of this planet of opportunity! so to say i am afraid of dying is not as important as being afraid of living!

I'm not afraid of dieing because the way I look at it: whats so bad about sleeping forever? :) I mean, you work all your life (one way or another) and then you get to relax. Try not to sleep your actual life away though.

I don't believe there's conscience after death, so no. But I think nobody wants to live or die in pain. The pain your loved ones will feel after your death is dependant on what you give them now. Their pain will be least, or maybe they even will feel joy when you die if you make them hate you during your life ;-)

I'm not afraid of dying or the act that brings about my death. I AM afraid of dying and that no one will care. I don't have any family and that does kind of bother me.

No I'm not afraid to die. I want to be placed upside down in the grave and have this written in my stone: Here Lies the_saint, burried upside down so the world can kiss his A$$!

The question is, who isn't afraid of dying? As long as you know that you have been a good person, then that can ease your mind.
