I don't know how two genders can share anything. Men and women, boys and girls, people of different sexes can since we are all something which exists. I can't point my finger at a gender, nor can you or anyone else.
Are you asking should men and women, people of opposite sexes, share toilets? I'd say as long as we aren't trying to cram too many people into a single space at one time, why not?

I say no. Because it's a great situation for rapist, and perverts.
Partas of europe may have these but they have a different kind of population. and Many are so used to so little they have no idea of indivualility in rest rooms.
Many europeans also go months with out bathing in the winter as they buy heat and hot water seperately in the winter and it is expensive. parts of germany is like that. I don't think americans would go for that either.
imagine your 5 year old daugter in the bathroom while men flash their penus around. Don't think so. Imagine a 13, 16, 25 year old woman coming out of a stall to find 2. to 4 guys with it hanging out.At work we have about 100 people in my area and maybe 200 in our other area and even on the weekends or at night if there is only 10 people there someone will cause a mess in the rest rooms on purpose. something women should not have to put up with. If employees or customers in volume demand it there should be one place for all. but no woman or girl should be fiorced to use one.

I would use a public restroom that's only one room, one door, one toilet & meant for either gender.
But I would not enter a public restroom that's meant for both men and women that has many stalls in it.

Well I have 3 boys so I guess I already share the restroom with guys! It really doesn't matter to me as long as there are doors. Men might not want to use an urinal in front of women though.

I say heck no. Lines are already too long at women's restrooms. And thats nothing but women. But if there were guys too geeze. Not to mention I wouldn't feel all that comfortable going to the same bathroom with guys. I mean who knows what could happen in there. And from the guys side, I think they already have issues with standing a certain distance and selected urinal away from other men so no one sees their peepee's. But imagine women in there and there would be all kinds of a complex for the guys. Back to women's side of it, she couldn't be able to take her gfs in there and ask them for advice about sleeping with the guy or not. Or if she could borrow a tampon. Would be too uncomfortable for them with guys there. Both genders have seperate needs, they can't be themselves in the same restroom.

There are just as many perverts in single gender bathroom. Women claims in the women restroom everything is holy but it not. When you go to the restroom is going to the restroom to release your body of water and waste. It has nothing to do with sex. Notice all moms who bring in boys in women restroom is not always about the male restroom. The use that as a cover up in what they real are doing. Yes to you other women there are just as many pervert, sickos in the women restroom than the males restroom.

I think men's restrooms are completely disgusting. They always pee on the seats. But women's are just as equally nasty because of the blood/tampons/pads and they also can't aim. If I had to choose, I would choose to pee in the woods or behind a nearby tree.

No. That would be weird. I am OK with single occupant public restrooms. By the way, most of them are not really rest rooms. They are toilet facilities called rest rooms. Real rest rooms also have a place for you to rest.
