The USA used to be the leading nation in the world with advancements in all directions. Now because of some insatiable desire to become involved in every other countries activities around the globe to squash terrrorism they have lost the leading edge, the frontier is no longer, it is lost in the quagmire of supporting a war machine that gets larger everyday.

To Randy D. Maybe God has blessed me and that is why I asked this question to make people like you think about the underlying question not the one on the surface that most people see but the more complicated one Randy. Can you see it?

Watch the USA if Hillary or J.Kerry become Numero Uno. We will become a nation of nothings,..free as a bird and not worth a dime. We will slowly follow The Supreme Nation of Antarctica with penguins and whales running the show.

Being Top Dog requires guts and enough armor to ward off silly critics, stupid critics, and "I can't remember" critics

It also requires a big, tough and ruthless Military under the command of a guy who tells the truth about everything.

The Israeli Military machine has some of those guys.

Your baiting question has, as all baiting questions have, no intelligence to them at all. If you think this country "has lost the leading edge" then you really are back in the Dark Ages. There is no country so advanced anywhere on this planet as the United States is, so when you go get some education, come back with a more intelligent, less baiting question. God Bless you.

you are right with that observation, but i think you are wrong in the reason. it is my theory that we are becoming lazy and complacent. we just go to work and shop and eat and periodically shake our fists at the heavens but think:
do you have a patent?
are you an inventor?
how did you choose your career?

we don't champion our intellectual victories anymore, we have become fixated on money and comfort. and that makes it easy to be subsumed by a war machine that doesn't tear you away from the television or your visa. i am not trying to be abrasive, but i hear americans speak passively about their country and it confuses me. they are us. what are the dreams we are taught to pursue? when we catch them are they worthwhile or are they just a long line of fleeting pleasures?

Sis, someone has to do it. The United Nations is to corrupt, can't do anything. You want China to step in? How about if Russia was still a super power.

Terrorism could be our downfall if we allow it to persist and fester. If these people continue to grow thier organizations they could come back with a vengence.
