My daughter is 5, she is just getting into video games. She can handle a directional control and probably no more than 2 buttons.

Kirby Air Ride, your on a "star" (car) and to move you just move the control stick. you dont have to hold down a. Tak and the Great Juju Challenge. Mario party games. Luigis Mansion might be to hard i dont really know

Well I can direct you away from a bad game: Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Sure, it may seem appropriate for kids at first, but kids tend to have easily influenced minds vulnerable to lies and deceit. This means that if a child is given something really crappy for entertainment, they will grow to like it, and when they show that they like it to others, others will taunt them. Also the Wind Waker just plain sucks, and if your child grows to like it, her mind will be influenced by its suckiness. She will adopt many qualities (or rather, problems) from it such as not knowing how to get things done, being in denial of reality when the fact that its not so pretty sinks in, and pretty much never being able to grow up.
