Yesterday i just came back from a cruise--- (around Europe) i was with my neice a 3 yr old sweet girl she asked me why does the ocean keeps on waving.... she had me lost. I answered her, because God is so great that He makes everything possible... She had a look of wonder in her eyes... I do not know what to say... Am alone now but my neice`s question stucks in my mind.. why does the ocean doesnt stop waving?

Because of the moon and gravity:
The earth rotate and the moon is constantly trying to pull all the water to the nearer side (there is a measurable increase from outerspace). The waves are due to build ups of water height in the oceans and the earths gravity trying to flatten it out.
Tides are explained similarly.

because of the gravity between the earth and the move it makes the wave pull and creates waves and since the moon and the earth are there 24/7 there are always waves

The earth is constantly spinning, the moon is constantly pulling , the wind is constantly blowing, in different ways, water reacts to forces so there are waves.
