As reported last week, Randy Orton did an interview with WWE Magazine where he briefly explained the reason for his suspension back in April. He simply said that he smoked a joint and that someone in the office snitched on him (believed to be Bruce "Brother Love" Prichard). There's actually a bit more to the story. Internally, it was believed that he flaunted his actions considering that he did it inside the Kemper Arena with several people watching him and that it occured so shortly after the first drug test. Also, he believed that because he's such a big wrestling star, he could violate the drug policy with impunity and WWE management would do nothing about it. As it turned out, WWE showed him that he was wrong. Also, there were a couple of other incidents during WrestleMania week, not to mention years of repeated fines for other incidents (usually his treatment of women) that played into his 60 day suspension.
