Hi Love Bubbles: I know what you are going through with the pain in your feet. I have had the same problem for about a year now. Recently, the pain has gotten worse.

My neurosurgeon has diagnosed it as nerve pain-it's called peripheral neuropathy if you want to get info off the net. He prescribed Lyrica. At first it seemed to work, but like I said, recently, it has gotten to the point that on some days instead of using a cane, I have had to use my walker to take the pain off my feet.

You should see a specialist that deals in nerve pain like a neurologist or neurosurgeon. Hope this helps and good luck to you.

I'm surprised you were not referred to a Podiatrist. Besides the 8 or 9 years to become a doctor (MD), they have spent 2-3 years specializing. You should see a Podiatrist.
