Iain Banks - Complicity -
odd, interesting book. Kind of set in the mystery genre, but one of the characters IS the killer, so you read things from that point of view. Thought provoking.

I am way into romance books and i suggest the author Hannah Howell. She is a great author. Her storys are set more back in history and are many about scottish born people but they are great! I can sit down and read one of her books all the way till the end. You might like her so give her a try! I would say the best book of hers is Highland Hearts or Highland Promise. Good luck!

If you like fantasy give King Fortis the Brave a try. About a pair of twins pulled into a magical realm, they find themselves caught in a battle for control of the land. It's full of action and humor, and will keep you turning the pages!

The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown. The movie was a huge disappointment after reading the book because it was so good.

Julie Smith has a couple of series with different characters set in New Orleans before Katrina, one with a female cop and one with a female detective, they are really good, very descriptive and it makes you feel like you are in New Orleans. I am picky about horror, no one writes like Stephen King, he is my absolute favorite. Diana Gabaldon writes historical fiction that makes you feel like you are there.
