It was autumn. A warm night with a nice breeze. The smell of fallen leaves and a hint of cold in the air. We walked to a park a few blocks away. We climbed to the top of the slide. He kissed me so soft and warm, then slid to the bottom of the slide out of my sight.

It was January 1984 in Reno, NV. Sitting at the black jack table at the Sundowner with a friend celebrating my 21st birthday. Met a couple of guys, had drinks, watch the Super Bowl with the guys that we just met. We sat next to each other watching the game so intently, knowing that he was hoping the Redskins would win and knowing that the awesome Raiders would win!! We had dinner, it felt like we had known eachother forever, we even said it felt like soul mates. We danced, we drank, we gambled (unfortunately I wasn't winning any money), we gently kissed and held eachother through the night.
The cuddling & gentle kissing was very memorable and still in my mind. However, the Raiders beating the Redskins I have to say was the highlight!
