Go to the police before things get to serious. He's acting like a crazy maniac. He could be dangerous. But he's just starting, and at this point is easy to scare him off whit the police.

All of these suggestions for protective orders or orders of protection really aren't going to do you any good depending on the state you live in. I was a court clerk for some time and the only reasons one could get a protective order is if there were threats of physical harm or actual physical harm. Whereas you have a child together, that does fulfill the other requirement of having either been married, be related by blood or marriage, lived in the same residence, or had a child together. You may want to speak with the local legal aid society and see what help they can offer. Most counties have free legal clinics at which you can speak with attorneys for free. Contact your local courthouse to see what's available in your area. If there aren't any threats involved and you don't qualify for a protective order, you may still qualify for a restraining order. Just make sure you document every call and save every message. Good luck!

The protective or restraining order is one thing ---but---you would be well served to find a tape recorder and record these messages that are being left ---with any date / time stamp that can be included---in order to have direct---in his own words proof of what's going on so that if the case ever comes up or there's a question about it-----there it is----also it would not be a bad idea to get someone to double check this out as a third party witness as to what is going on---never hurts to have another person in the mix when there is question about questionable behavior !!!

Either ignore his calls or tell him in uncertain tones to stop calling or you will get the police department involved. If you have a tape of his calls its even better.
Good Luck and be careful!

Take the tape to a family court and obtain an order of protection. If he does it again, go to the local police/sheriff and have him arrested.

call the police and make a report about the things that are happening to you.
you can get help from a crisis center if matters get worse, like at a YWCA they have crisis centers that offer support.
they have a web page that can help you find a YWCA in your area.
http://www.ywca.org/site for usa
http://www.worldywca.info/index.php/
hope this will help you.....LOL

Restraining order and change your phone number...better yet move somewhere else and have a changed number after filing the restraining order.

Tell him that if he refuses to behave like an adult and communicate with you like two adults that you will have no choice but to report him to the police for phone harrassment.

Tell him to stop. If he doesn't get a court order that limits him from calling you, not stopping him from contacting his son, but limits how many times he can call.
