Come on people ! - More answers please ! - If you can't admit a mistake you are doomed to repeat it. Show you are smart enough to have learned a lesson. Others will benifit from your wisdom. (That's the point of the question.) Thank you for admitting how you learned it the HARD way.

Jealousy. Also, education is very important, and the more you learn the younger you are, and instill it in your brain-the better. In a few weeks I could of been leaving for my dream college instead of attending a community college, had I not fooled around my underclassmen years. It really bit me in the a s s, and it sucks, but I am glad I had a chance to work on my grades before I punched and realize how valuable education is. I know better now-if I can balance out school and my social life, but always keep my school first-I'll go far.

I've learned that you never accept a job that someone has to advertise for. This means that the place is going to be hard to work for (toxic boss, customers, employees, etc; and or the working conditions are going to suck). When a company has to advertise, it means that they've exhausted every other means of filling the position.

Not to leave a sibling in charge of my affairs when I lived in China. He embezzled over $70, 000 in less than five years. It would have been wiser to leave a professional group in charge.

I learned that we REALLY learn our lesson when we actually "pay" for the given mistake done...
