Approximately what percent of income do young people (18-25) in USA spend on socializing and status symbols?

I am 24... I'd say about 75% of my income goes to socializing and buying the right clothes to fit in, the right car, etc. I'm past the high school thinking of having to look a certain way to fit in... but I am single... so I still dress to impress all the time.

About 25% maybe goes towards that. I love to travel a lot, so that's where most of money goes, both airfare and my gas tank. I am 19.
