You aren't supposed to ovulate when taking birth control. I was supposed to start taking tri-levlen but after three days I stopped taking it. I had my period one week started the pills the next and then when I would have normally ovulated, I started my period again (because I quit taking the BC). But here's the thing, I was told that after 3 days the pills shouldn't have even been in my system....The only thing good about taking those pills is it restarted my cycle so I could ttc again during my ovulation (if it happened)

No. You do not ovulate when you are on the pill-that is how it prevents pregnancy. It provides the body with hormones that stop ovulation-that is why if you miss a day or two, the hormone level drops, you can ovulate and get pregnant.

Yep-- supposedly you release a dead egg, or in my case, I release live, fertile ones (double ovulation-- pill cures one, but not the other egg)! You still can feel the egg pop out of your ovary occasionally, so that is normal. However, my advice to you is to use a condom as well because a lot of medicines (like antibiotics) will cause the pill not to work and you to become a mommy.

I am not entirely 100% on this... but I think the answer is no.
