My friend wants to take me bra shopping, the problem? I don't know where on earth we can go, she's pretty flat about 30 A or somewhere in the AA range, the only place i know of that sells bras is victoria's secret and the bras there are pricey and look like they are for larger busts, anywhere else you recommend going?

Take her to Walgreen's Drug, and show her the Ace bandages.
Then convince her to go braless and wear tight tshirts, take a picture of her, and send it to me.

Nearly all bras come in A cup except the ones specialized to support large busts. Some of them like Victoria's Secret just look too big because they're all padded. If her chest is really only 30 inches though she would have to look in the petites or teen section (most bras seem to start at 32 and up). If she's really AA that's harder to find, but most large department stores should carry small bras. Just ask the sales person. The sales person can also help measure her, most people don't really know how to measure themselves for a bra properly.

Actually, you don't want a "cheap" bra, you want a GOOD bra, so don't be afraid to spend a little money. When shopping for a bra do this: measure your rib cage under your breasts, write down that number. Then, measure around the fullest part of your breasts. Now subtract that number from the first number . The first measurement will be your bust size; the difference between the two measurements is your cup size. So, let's say your first measurement was 34. Then when you measured your bust, it was 36. Your bra size would be 34B (one size per inch of difference). You want a bra that fits you right, no pulling, spilling over, hiking up. See what I mean? Even if you pay a little more for your bra it will be soooooooo worth it because it will make you look so much better in your clothes. And careful washing will make it last for years. Happy shopping!!

Any department store sells bras. And Victoria's Secret sells all sizes. Are you seriously suggesting that only big busted women buy from Victoria's Secret? They specialize in "enhancement", which means giving you what nature didn't.

Any department store has a ladies undergarment section, however, there is no guarantee they will have her size.

I would say go to Victoria's Secret, try on everything you see that you would like to try, but just don't buy. They may have something that makes her look larger - and I think they also do custom orders for push up bras. They don't carry my size, because I am bigger than a 38.

Your friend should try the Victoria's Secret website. You could also try some bra manufacturer's websites like Maidenform. You can type in your bra size in the little search box. Sometimes they have bra sizes they don't carry in the stores online. I know because I also have an uncommon bra size: 32 C. Strange huh?

I outgrew Victorias by just a little bit. I have to go to Lane Bryant for bras. Ironically, I still wear misses clothes. My bust line just got tooo big.

Where are you for starters? I mean most places in America you can find them easily in that small size. If there was JC Penny close to you they have fitting events where you can get measured and find th exact right bra for your friend. They are completely professional and so on..Its a good idea to get fitted every once in a while or if you know you are different.
