Yeah they are i hate the dress code at my school. I think its stupid i mean why cant we wear want we want.

LOTS of advantages to a uniform:
1. Can get dressed in 5 mins. - trying to decide what to wear, then changing, and changing again, and calling a friend to help decide what to wear, then changing again takes a lot of time in the morning.
2. In the long run, uniform is cheaper.
3. You can save your great clothes for after school activities and you don't need as many different outfits.
4. No guys checking out your *** when you go up the stairs.
5. No girls saying your clothes aren't right.
6. No distractions in class means better grades.
7. You can wear your school clothes to your after-school office job - they like the way it looks - the office pays better than a fast food place.
8. The other kids don't know how much money your parents earn, so you're all the same!
9. If you take care of the uniform, you can re-sell it, hand it down or give it away when you're done with it.
10. SECURITY - you can always tell when there's a stranger in the building. These days that's important.

I'm a teacher at a school, and believe me, there are reasons for dress codes... hormones are raging in adolescents and to foster a good learning environment, people should dress appropriately so they don't lose focus and fall into debauchery and/or become porn stars.

I don't mind dress codes. At my school, the dress code's pretty tight and all the girls still look like a bunch of sluts. And besides, no teachers want to look at a bunch of slutty girls all day in class.

dress codes??? HA, i had to wear a uniform for SEVEN years....i didnt mind at all, focused on my studies and now im all set for college this fall
and no im not a nerd lol if thats what you think...ewww. Now that high school is over for me i guess im a little relieved that i can go back to obssesing over clothes, a little.

I had to wear a uniform in high school and hated it. So I have created a new fashion accessory that will bring back self-expression for students again.

I actually didnt mind the dresscode in school. I found it to be a bit helpful for my sanity only because i really dont need to see girls asses or muffintop stomachs from thier pants 8 sizes too small and thier shirts cropped to their bras.

the word is "bogus". Do spell check. And I believe school uniforms are great....you don't have to worry and fuss about what to wear, and everyone is the same, no one more dressed than the other.

I hate dress codes itihnk Belly shirts and Booty shorts is ok But tube tops and Stuff thats juss stupid
