You have to make sure wich "ressource" is low. My idea is either the hard drive is getting full or you are running low on memory.

The second is more likely, the thing to do is go to a Computer shop and get RAM that fits your PC. You get RAM anywhere from 40 to 200$ depending on the make and the performance possibilities.

The first one, the full hard drive, can be done from home and for free. You would have to delete the unused content. To do this, use had/remove program in the control panel. Anything not in use got to be deleted and rarely used items can probably get the same treatment. Try also to get rid of unused windows componants(games, outlook, media player) at the same time and in the same place.

For further help, I suggest you call the computer "geeks" of your family or friend network. Or you could speak to a store tech, but beware that theses guys are there to "sell" you stuff, even some you don't need.
