It's a difficult one to call. The boxers could come in useful if you ever get into a fight, but the briefs would be useful if the fight resulted in litigation.
Why not take a boxing brief, then they can fight court cases and sue at the same time?

Boxers,but honestly going commando is easier.Plus, it cuts down on the laundry, as long as you believe in nether regions hygiene.
