I think the movie was not only good, but important. Yes, some of it was contrived, but it's necessary to at least attempt a more honest portrayal of race relations in this country and this movie did that. Race is still an issue, if you cannot see that you must live a pretty isolated life.

Yes, I feel like this was a good movie. When an Oscar-winning movie illustrates that law enforcement can work, and that crime and corruption in many areas can be reduced, this same movie can have a positive effect on people who watch.

"Crash" is a brilliant film. The ensemble cast worked well together and the story really flowed. I loved how everyone in the film learned something about themselves that they didn't know before. Self-discovery can be very shocking (Ryan Phillipe's character for example). The soundtrack was awesome too.

I honestly didn't. I had a hard time buying into everybody looking at every situation as a race issue. It had it's good points everybody was both demonized and redeemed no single group was made to be the bad guy. However I just found it to be a little forced and contrived.

I really liked it... a lot better tha Hostel which I saw today. Crash was excting and made me think. Hostel was a bit silly and a bit lame... but it had lots of boobes in it.
I thought it was clever in Crash the way several different plots meshed together.

Awesome movie. I think that it was about time that Hollywood came out with a movie dealing with racial issues and Crash was just that movie.!
