I have 3 computers , two desktops and a notebook, one of the desktop computers has an ethernet adapter and a wireless card, i want to use this computer as a bridge to connect the other two, the notebook using wireless and the other desktop by cable I tried checking the promiscous mode but still the bridge doest work my wireles card in an Encore PCI wireless card.

NOTE: I dont want to share an internet connection only i want to set up a network between the machines to share resources

How are you connecting to the internet with the wireless card on your desktop? Don't you have a wireless router? If you do your notebook should have no problem detecting the wireless connection assuming it has a built in wireless network card.
