If you mean football club then yes.
Same with Formula 1 - the more you can spend the better your team can become.

The question the best team wins the most trophy's or plays the most attractive, Chelsea have ruined the sport and waste the most money example Scott Parker bought for 10 million sold for 4.5 a season later, Del Horno 8.5 season later 4 million Veron 17.5 million released on a free two seasons later Marteja Kezman 14 million sold a season later 5 million Duff 18 million sold two seasons later 4 million any other club and they would be bankrupt FACT arsenal have spent hardly anything and play the most attractive football in the premiership but they won't be champs with stupid money being spent.

Not necesarily, the best example is Real Madrid and Barcelona, Barcelona is not considered to have as much money as Real or Chelski or man U or Milan , etc,as it doesent receive money for t shirt publicity and has a lot of players on loan. But even though it won the Ch league and the Liga. On the other hand Madrid is the club with most earnings but hastn-t won anything in the past 3 years. Chelsea has become a powerful club in part for the economic help of Roman, but what has really made it big is the renovation of the managers and good decision making. So money can-t buy you love ...but it helps..

You can go out and buy the best 15 players in the world, but what is to say that they will gel with each other. West Ham did this and failed, Real Madrid are screwed now, they cant even finish in the top 2 and look what Tottenham did in 2005/2006. Spurs spent **** all and finished 5th but were 4th for most of the season. The best players wont always gel together so you MUST find the right mix in order to have a good team

Newcastle united spent well over £100 million (back when that was a lot of money) and won absolutely nothing.. Money guarantees you nothing. Those that knock Chelsea all the time need to remember that Man Utd spent £30 Million on Rio Ferdinand alone. Even Chelsea wouldn't pay that much for a donkey like him.. Money helps, but you need good management, great team spirit and a dash of luck too..

not at all. its about the fans and the game. You can play good football with a good manager and still not succeed, but give enjoyment to everyone watching over 90 mins. Arsenal won 1-0 pretty much all the time in the 80's and got laughed at, but won trophies. Barnsley played great football and got relegated....but everybody loved them...

Depends what crap or so-so players you are buying
Chelsea's 2 signings Ballack and Shevchenko had a 'so-so' world cup (performance wise), the upcoming premiership will be a step up in class, whether they will hack it or not (or cut the mustard) remains to be seen

Well, yes, look at Man U's and Real Madrid's previous dominance and Chelsea's dominance now.
Wouldn't really call them clubs, more of a business really.

Don't really know. I look at clubs much the same way asa Groucho Marx did. "I wouldn't belong to a club that would have me as a member".
