You are asking about a fact, contrary to popular belief science is not about facts, rather it is about hypothesis, investigation and further hypothesis, followed by further investigation...ad infinitum. There are no facts in science. The bubble universe is one hypothesis, there are many others you could start your investigation here...

I dont know why they call it a bubble. Heck I didn't know they did call it a bubble. We as people come up with some stupid stuff sometimes. We don't have much knowledge to name it a bubble.
if the universe is a bubble what in the world is it floating and what
in the heck is it expanding in. It doesn't make a lot of since but we can name a black plane if we wanted too.

Technically we as humans dont know but scientist theorize that when the big bang occured the uninverse started rapidly expanding, and it still is today, and if it expanded everywhere equally, than it is a bubble, an expanding bubble, but a bubble nontheless.

Comes a train of little ladies
From scholastic trammels free.
Each a little bit afraid is
Wond'ring what the world can be.

Is it but a world of trouble;
Sadness, set to song...?
Is its beauty but a bubble,
Bound to break ere long...?

Are its palaces and pleasures
Fantasies that fade...?
And the glories of its treasures
Shadow of a shade...?

Shadow of a shade...?

Schoolgirls we, eighteen and under
From scholastic trammels free.
And we wonder, oh we wonder;
We wonder; how we wonder,
What on Earth the world can be...?

What on Earth the world can be...?
