I am now a borderline diabetic, I have to watch what I eat and eat frequently. Do you really want that?

Eat properly, cut the junk and fast food down alot. Don't cut it out or you will just go nuts one day cause you are craving it. drink water, cut the pop out. Excercise go for walks, bike, rollerblade, go to a gym and ask a personal trainer for a program.
