The place I read the question was " Astronomy and Space"
The question was, "Is it true that the moon isn't real - that it is an optical illusion?"

Why is it no one ever discusses that the Lunar lander base and equipment left behind can be seen with the right telescope!

Some people are just so conspiracy oreinted they can't take real facts!

I don't know if we landed on the moon or not. Especially the first time. There must be something to the rumor that is was all a hoax because many thousands of people believe it was a hoax on the world and the American people. So something happened that was suspicious enough to make people draw that conclusion. The Government is capable of every hoax and atrocity known to man. And the Government has enough power to force even honorable men such as Neal Armstrong to lie.

It wasn't a hoax. It was real. Neal Armstrong is a real person and he planted a flag on the moon. It is impossible to convince people who refuse to accept it.
And, yes, I am an educated person. I am a teacher with advanced degrees.

oh yea, you couldn't go to the moon becase gravity would pull you down, you see planes don't really fly either they are just holograms flying through the sky. And when you are in a plane it is really just a simulator like machine.

You need to define "extremely educated" also, you need to come up with a way for verifying it. Good luck with that!

No. It was real. There is no reason to fake it. We wanted to beat the Russians. They would have known if we faked it and we had the technology to go.
