The strangest dream I ever had was when I was about 15 and I was dreaming of my life, each time I woke up and went back to sleep it would say part one and then part two and so on. Also I would catch my reflection in a mirror or on some sort of image and I was getting older in each part. It was bizarre.

I used to have this recurring dream where I was trapped in a square room that was painted completely white from floor to ceiling. There were no doors or windows, and the only objects in the room were a large purple bouncy ball and a flight of stairs that led to nothing. I don't rememeber anything actually happening in the dream, but I do remember being scared every time I had it. I still can't figure out what it meant.

I enter a cave. It is dark except I can see a music staff playing in front of me. I am sucked onto the notes and that is fun. But a huge spider always enters and tries to pull me off. I have never gotten past his entrance before waking up in a cold sweat.

I had this one often as a kid and then again when moving into my first home about 20 years ago.

I used to have this reoccuring dream where I was chased through places like malls by this little. . .I don't know how to explain it, but it looked like a puddle of slightly spoiled cottage cheese. And it had a beak. And a little top hat and a cape. It's totally ridiculous now, but MAN those were some terrifying dreams when I was little. I used to be way scared of that little cottage cheese monster. To this day, I get a little nervous going by the dairy section, man.

Between midnight and dawn a deer back lit by a streetlamp came to my bedroom window. After a moment it turned and trotted down the street, its departure echoing from the pavement. I went to the window and saw a black town car cruise slowly by. Two big men in the back seat flanked a young woman who turned and looked at me. I recognized her, but could not recall anything about her. The car disappeared. The street was empty and quiet.

I had a recurring dream where I would suddenly find myself on the edge of a cliff. And there was a girl there, and before I could do anything about it, she would push me off. Well, the last time I had that dream, I was there on the cliff, and she went to push me off, but before she could I grabbed her instead and threw her off, and I never had the dream again.

One time a neighbor got drunk and fell off one of those oil pumps that used to dot the countryside, and tore his leg off.
I was three , and my sister told the story to me. That night and for about eight years, I would have a nightmare about the thump, thump, thumping, of an oilpump derrick chasing me to cut my legs off!
I got out of it when I was 11, when I kinda woke up enough to realized it was my own heartbet going thump, thump, thump.

When I was at my aunts house a few summers ago, we were going to sleep outside in a tent with my son, who was about 8 at the time, and a couple of his cousins. While me and my aunt were setting up the tent, she scared me by shouting out "what out for the spiders on the vines". Needless to say, she scared the daylights out of me. Well, after we got everything set up and played with the kids for a while, we all went to sleep. That night I dreamed that a bunch of spiders fell on me and covered my body while I was laying down, and they were black widows. My dad, and my son were standing next to me, freaking out, and all I remember was saying to them "good night", see ya later, and then I woke up. I guess I was dying, so at least I said good-bye to them. I was really freaked out for a couple weeks about that one!
