I'll go along with Condi Rice. Mainly because the Democrats will legalize all the illegal immigrants, which would be a travesty.

Barak Obama, Maxine Walters, Diane Feinstein, Cokie Roberts, George Stephanopholous, at a stretch Joe Biden or Russ Feingeld, and I could even accept Al Gore though my objections to him are more esoteric than the reasons others might give - - - but who says that anyone will be able to pry the sceptre from Bushes hands? . PS A Comromise, you want a Republican, then pull Bob Dole out of retirement. If someone else wins in 2008 they MUST put Madelyn Albright back in as Secretary of State.

Albert Gore because he has the most experience, cares about both people and the environment, would support raising the minimum wage, have the guts to ask tough question on every issue, he is the man to clean up this mess GW Bush is unable to resolve, because he served in the field for six months in Vietnam and did not go AWOL, because he would support medicare for the aged, social security the retired, because Gore would move the Country toward universal health care, because he is a real dedicated public servant and finally because he is a good person who really cares about The United States.

Joe the plumber. Because he's there for the people with no private interests. He gets elected with donated funds no soft money, and he's not rich, (so he doesn't have a bunch of rich business friends who would all like favors). Basically, someone who's not a politician but is very intelligent and knows whats going on in the world, (actually watches the news). Could be any race or sex just intelligent please. It would also be great if they had no religion so they didn't try to make policy based on religious beliefs, unless they were Buddhist, (I don't think a Buddhist would start any wars based on their religious beliefs).

anybody REPUBLICAN!

is there any way you could trust a democrat to protect this country? they have there head in the sand when it comes to the global war against islamofascism.

besides, with republicans in charge the past 6 years, the economy has NEVER been better.....and that includes the incompetent reign of bubba the dress stainer........check some economic numbers for proof such as unemployment rate, interest rates, new home construction, taxes, inflation, the stock market, etc. etc. etc.

hey DON M.....obama is NOT well spoken. i saw him grilling bolton during his confirmation hearing and the guy was very ineffective. sure, he uses big words, but the guy was not fluid at all and didn't ask a single hard-hitting question. check out the video on c-span for proof.

Hilary Clinton, John McCain, Rudy Gialiani, Mario Cuomo, Colin Powell. I think they all have some smarts and would bring different things to the table. I'm a democrat, but the only front runner in that party I see is Hilary, so I am also looking at any decent republicans.

I'm not sure I know who will be all the runners, but my guess, like it or not, will be John McCain, (R) Az.
We don't need anymore ultra-right wing Nazis, and the bleeding-hearts will really put us the crapper, economically. John McCain, although a Republican, is about as close to a Moderate as I feel we have in any position to win.
He has done a great job in Arizona over the years, and I beleive he would be fair to all Americans, where ever possible.

I am a Moderate, I do not consider myself either Rep or Dem, although I must be registered as one or the other in my state in order to even vote.

Hillary because then the list of presidents will read:

Bush
Clinton
Bush
Clinton

That will help to confuse school kids 100 years from now.

For anyone who is living the fantasy that it will be Hillary Clinton, ask yourself this question: Of the 43 US presidents, how many weren't white males?
