Me and my guy are planning a trip to san antonio around september 8... anyone know of any nice places to stay around the riverwalk??

Try the link below. My favorite hotel on the River walk is La Mansion Del Rio. It is a very classic and elegant hotel for San Antonio, right on the river walk, with an excellent restaurant.

I would stay at the Hilton, they have a free breakfast and a great view of the river and city. You also get a balcony with every room Along with this hotel you are right on the river walk, you will love it! oh make sure you go to Ritas on the river walk and get a Texas size margarita! yummmm

stay downtown by the Alamo...you can walk to the Riverwalk, Alamo and take a trolley to the Mexican market..there is a lot to do around there without using a car...we used our car one day to go to Sea World

I don't know any good placces, but don't pick a hotel on Broadway st.! There is a lot of crime in SA, so be careful.

you better make your reservations now or you may be sleeping in the car. hotels fill faster than anywhere i ever been. and the traffic is horrible those people cant drive!
