I'd like to clear up some space on my pc and Get all the music from my PC's itunes onto the itunes on my laptop. Is it possible just using the ipod? I'd really rather not have to burn all that stuff onto disks, email it or get an external harddrive. Also is there a way to put music on my ipod from someone else's itunes without having it delete my whole list? I heard something about changing the settings to manual but I have no idea what that means. Help me out here, somebody?

To elaborate on the second question: If I just connect it to their computer without making any modifications, my music will be replaced with their's it doesn't add new songs by default standards it would just replace the whole thing. I only know that because if you take a song off of your itunes list and update your ipod the song will be erased from your ipod. So I'm asking if anyone knows what setting I need to adjust on my itunes.

The short answer is, without a hack (which means breaking the law), it is impossible to move your iTunes library from one PC to another. Just as when you upgrade to a new PC, you have to re-buy all of your music over again. This is just one of the many reasons I do not use and do not reccomend the iPod.

Yes there is a way to do both. the source below gives the first one, moving music. to add music to ur ipod from someone else's, set the ipod to manual, dont worry ill show you. plug your ipod into a computer. open itunes. look in the lower right hand corner of the screen. there will be a button with a mini ipod on it. click it. you if you click on the ipod tab there will be an option to manually update your ipod. just click the box. while you're there, make sure disk use is enabled (same page, will explain soon). click ok. drag and drop music onto your ipod. to get indivdual songs off an ipod, we are going to use a program called yamipod (download link second source). open up your ipod as a drive from "my computer" install yamipod right there. open yamipod. find the song you want taken off. right click on song and select "copy to...". then just add to your library. This works for videos too.

U can in basic terms sync your ipod to one million itunes account if u plug ur ipod into the different computer u lose ur different music. Burn one million library onto a cd and flow it 2 your different computer and purely use one.

The proble with Ipod is that you need to have the itunes installed on whatever computer. I think you can just use the USB cable and go to My Computer and then whatever drive the cable is hooked up to and then Select All/ Ctrl+A from Edit to your My Music Folder or wherever. Or I think you can just hook up the USB cable from computer to computer
