dont eat so much cr@p and get off your butt and excersize. Sitting around eating Lay's potato chips aint gonna get you skinny. Dont focus on a number of weight...just get off your butt and lay off the soda!

me and my room mate have lost a combined 160 lbs in the last year and a half following the South Beach Diet. I picked the book up on e-bay for $5. That Sonoma Diet sounds like about the same thing. There's just no substitute for eating healthy and getting a bit of exercise a couple times a week. But following those guide lines that the books lay out for you will educate you on what's good and what's bad for you. You'd be amazed at the difference it makes. My Doctor recommended the South Beach to me. Good luck. I know how hard losing weight is.

I don't think fad diets are the way to go. If they were then most people would be happier with their weight. The only way to lose weight (and keep it off) is to change your eating habits and exercise. Be sure to eat lots of fruits, veggies, protein, and fewer carbs and sugary foods. That doesn't mean no cake for life...it just means to eat in moderation. You should find out how many calories you should be eating a day and make an effort to consume that many calories a day. Bascially it's all about burning more calories than you take in. Don't starve yourself either. If you do then your body will just keep whatever you've eaten and store it as fat to use for energy because it knows when you're depriving yourself. You need food to live healthy...just make better choices. And when you do want fast food or sugary food just remember to eat it in moderation. And exercise exercise exercise!

I lost 26 lbs on the Denise Austin 1600 calorie/day diet. She has a web site. It costs but not too much and she provides daily meal plans and a weekly shopping list. It was all about calories. For instance, do you like eggs? 5-1/3 egg whites equals one whole egg. Can you tell the difference? Barely.

YES YOU ARE VERY FAT! Hope you don't wear low cut jeans and shirts!!! If you want to loose the weight then do some thinking. Use your brain!!! Fad diest don't work so forget them. If you drink any soft drinks STOP! Go see a nutrisonalist and find hout how to eat healthy not the american way. Again toss out all fad diets such as south beach..... They don't work and can hurt you.

Sparkpeople.com,it's free and it's about making a lifestyle change rather than being on a diet.They have everything one could want to make weight loss easy.I have been on there for 2 months and have lost alomst 20lbs.I have lost almost 80 since last May.

I too am 160 and 5'4", but no one calls me fat, nor do I consider myself fat.
As a matter of fact my friends think that I have a great figure.
All of this really depends on your age and health.
Be happy that God has given you your health!

Train your body to make it accustomed to exercise by doing30-minute-a-day workouts, riding your bike and maybe doing a team sport for a while...Eat healthy!
