HPV is gential warts.
Herpes are pus blisters.
Both are viruses that you can't get rid of and are sexually transmitted.
Not all HPV increase your risk for cancer - only some more virulent strains. They are making a vaccine because this sexually transmitted disease is very prevalent. You can have HPV without ever having symptoms.

no herpes , and hpv are 2 different stds...Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a sexually transmitted disease (STD). One of the most common STDs in the United States, this virus can infect the genital area, causing genital warts (condyloma) and has been associated with cervical cancer. Early detection with can limit the risk of cancer.
There are more than 20 known sexually transmitted diseases. Some of them will cause symptoms that should be brought to the attention of your doctor immediately. However, others may be "silent" - a person could have the disease but might not notice any symptoms of the infection. Therefore, it is important to be tested for STDs if you are sexually active
Genital herpes is a sexually transmitted disease (STD). This virus causes recurrent, periodic outbreaks of sores in the genital region and remains in your body for life. However, there are anti-viral therapies available that can shorten the duration of symptoms.hpv has warts and herpes has blisters..

I got identified with herpes virus (type 2) about 3 years back, when I was still attending college and had a foolish one-night stand. I understand loads of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. After all, who wants to go out with someone who has sores around her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/DvpZd everything improved.
Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my system in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love again. Now I hope that I can help others too by sharing this story.

adding to that, hpv causes warts, which have to be frozen/cut off while herpes breakouts heal and disappear.
