School team sports, martial arts, taking up a musical instrument, getting a part time job, starting a hobby(go to a local hobby store), photography. Check to see if your school has any clubs that might interest you. Become a student pilot( check out a local airport about getting your private pilot license). Work on getting your driver's license, if you haven't already started. Junior ROTC, or CAP(civil air patrol. These are just a few, and they all contribute to your future. Good hunting!

Softball seems to be popular among girls your age. Running is good as well. You can get an MP3 player if you don't already have one and just run at your local park. Playing an instrument is great as well. You'll learn a lot as well as build up some muscles you may not normally use. Drumming can be very active. Guitar playing can also be as well. If you're looking for something for more of a group thing, join the Girl Scouts or find out what local clubs are available in your area. Most colleges put out a summer group activities list where you can participate in different things.

I'm not sure if you're looking more for something to past the time when you're bored or a hobby to fill your open time, but if you have special interests you're already aware of it'd be helpful if you posted them.

What about applying with Big Sisters...this is an organization that hooks you up with a child younger than you, who may not have parents available to them, or siblings to play with or learn from. You would be active...thinking of things to do in your time together like crafts, skating, horseback riding, dog walking for neighbors, shopping, sand castle building, bike riding...and at the same time, you have a grand opportunity to be someone special in the life of another person growing up...I'm sure they will touch your life in ways you may never have imagined. Babysitting could be just as rewarding in these aspects...and it's one of the few things you can do to make money without working papers.

Why don't you figure out what YOU like to do. I could tell you to play the piano, but if you hate music and love swimming than what good is my suggestion? What ever it is, it should be something that you can practice and improve your skills at and something you can enjoy the rest of your life. For Tiger Woods its playing golf, for Santana its playing guitar, for Steve Irwin its being a wild life master, etc, etc. Excuse my examples being all men, girls can do everything too. Like princess Diana, the Princess was arguably the most famous woman in the world, the pre-eminent female celebrity of her generation: a fashion icon, an image of feminine beauty, admired and emulated for her involvement in AIDS issues, and the international campaign against landmines. During her lifetime, she was often described as the most photographed person in the world. To her admirers, the Princess of Wales was a role model - after her death, there were even calls for her to be nominated for sainthood. Just make sure you are doing whatever it is because you truely love to do it, not just because you want to be like someone else. If you do what you love, success will come with it, however I would strongly suggest to NOT: smoke weed, drink, do drugs, be a wh*re, hang out, etc., as a primary past time because these things just waste time and you don't get anything out of it in the future. Maybe a little bit is ok, but be careful, its easy to get used to it and then waste your life and/ or get sick or die.

PS. please don't be like Paris Hilton, she is shallow, untalented, stupid, waste of life, and has herpes.

If you can go outside (I know it gets hot sometimes-- and might be dangerous to be outside too long) you can play with a soccer ball. You can set up those orange cones, and work on controlling the soccer ball by weaving in and out of the cones.

Since your 15 you should be in high school, Freshman or sophomore year (right?), so you could always try out for a sport. Or you could work on your skills for a certain sport and try out for that sport later. Of course, you could always join the YMCA and try out different sports or activities to see which ones you like. Those classes might be more flexible than school sports. And as always-- you'll meet new people. (Your local community center might also have sports and activities) (By the way, I think all YMCA's, or most of them, have indoor pools. So you can swim year round. Mine has a rock climbing wall, too. So you should check into prices, and check with you mom. Maybe you could turn it into a family thing. And to my surprise, lots of kids hang out there. Younger than you, on up to waaaaay older than you.)

Cleaning house is another good one. I know its not the most fun thing, but hey it's active-ish. Plus, your mom/dad/guardian will see you cleaning. And parents always like to see children cleaning. :) They offer praise, and occasionally rewards.

Talking to your parents. That never gets old, staying out of trouble that is a challenge for a kid your age.

spending time with your family and learning about your history. Going to church, and not trying to grow up so fast. Laser tag is also fun, after you go to church of course. What is great about laser tag, is that adults can do it to, so bring your parents with you.
