I love to argue. With intelligent people.

I hate it when people try to discuss things they really know nothing about and then get p!ssed off b/c you smoke their @$$ with the facts or an alternate cause. Hear are some examples
of some of the discussions I have been a part of:

Accountants discussing genetics and evolutionary biology (Trust me this group really needed to stick to taxes, financial statements and auditing)

Band nerds discussing the calls by a ref at a sporting event. If you have never played a sport ANYsport... be quiet you dont know what you are talking about, and everyone in the room can tell.

People with no kids telling a Parent how to raise theirs... I dont think this requires any additional comment

Polititians discussing anything. (ha ha thought y'all might get a kick out of that one)

Wealthy people discussing the key to happiness. and especially how money cant buy it (It's alwasy obvious to me that these people have never been poor, b/c if that were the case they wouldnt so readily make that comment, Are you truly happy when you dont know if you can afford your electric bill or groceries? I mean C'mon)

I think "I love to argue" is a great concept. The question I have is what about ignorant jerks like the ones occasionally on Yahoo! that dont truly know how to argue and attack other debators. B/c those are the individuals that will make your website a failure.

No. In fact I'll walk away from any argument that rears its ugly head.
Let me explain. I LOVE a discussion (on anything!).
To me an argument, in contrast, is one or two people trying to shove their opinion down somebody elses throat, whether they like it or not.
A discussion is an interesting exercise where two people talk about something they have a common interest in. They don't need to agree, but they must respect each others opinions (and each other) enough to NEVER let this dissolve into a shouting match. Whoever starts getting loud essentially is acknowledging that his mental capacity has been breached and overpowered..

Looked at your site and see '...many more futures on this site...'. Don't you mean features? You may want to have someone proof read things before you embarrass yourself.. ;-)

And sorry, but the 'I love to argue' is a turnoff for me. If it said 'I love to discuss' that would be another matter...
