some bettas like different foods. bettas are naturally carnivours so it wouldn't be uncommon to seee him not eat pellets for a while.

but give him a few days and he shall come around.

BTW a better food is hikari betta bio-gold

Bettas are carnivorous fish. Most won't eat flake at all. And some are sop picky that they won't eat Betta Bites. I have one like that as well. I feed mine frozen bloodworms, frozen brine shrimp, and frozen daphnia. I have two other large fish tanks though, so they each get a little pinch of whatever I am feeding the other fish. If all you have is one betta, try freeze dried tubifex or bloodworms. You can get live bloodworms and brine shrimp, but they wouldn't keep long enough for it to be worth it for just one Betta.

i have a betta. i feed my betta betta bitees twice a day. he does the same thing as yours but later goes back to eat it. you might want to try freeze-dried bloodworms as a treat for your betta also to give it some variety.

I used to have a betta myself, didnt have any eating problems though. I dont think you are going to find many good answers to this seeing as nobody can read your fish's mind.

I give my fish beta block that you put every week but if it just disolves on him or her just give it the bites.
