I am not really big into gaming, I just want a good desktop replacement, that is semi powerful.

are you a computer gamer? if you are you should get the XPS. pcs is general are better for games.

get the mac book pro is you wanna do some video and audio mixing and editing, or if you plan on having a large collection of music you'd like to play at a party.

i personally would go with the XPS. you get more for your dollar, and i'm guessing you're a current PC user, so you already know how to use it.

Get the Dell. There are more programs out there for windows compared to OSx. Plus it is as I call a "next-gen" laptop because it will be able to handle Windows Vista when it arrives. You have to think of the future, too when selecting a laptop.

Dont get either of them. They are both way to expensive and honestly they gonna be outdated before too long and replaced with some new laptop with some brand new advanced technology. So get a cheaper one, i recommend Compaq or HP, because they are decently cheap and run great. On the other hand you could always get a Toshiba Satellite like mine.

Dell MAC SUCKS FOR GOOD!! IT CRASHES SOMETIMES AND BREAKS DOWN TOO EASY! IT DOESN'T HAVE THE FETURES THAT DELL HAS TO OFFER

i would say neither macs suck and dells r way expensive id say go with an acer
