They were about to lose, and lose badly in the 1973 October War, until the U.S. initiated Operation Nickel Grass to resupply the IDF. So, it's very possible they could lose a war, especially if they continue to isolate themselves internationally by behaving like a pariah country.
The IDF has declined steadily as a fighting force, as evidenced by their initial defeats in the 1973 October War and the stalemate situation they created in south Lebanon after their withdrawal in 2000. There was also political fallout - in the aftermath of the 1973 conflict, the Meir administration resigned. I'd count it as a win for the Israeli people, however, since in exchange for the Sinai, which they lost in terms of territory, they gained peace with their neighbor, Egypt. (Conversely, while the political fallout for the Sadat administration was his assassination, the Egyptian people gained the Sinai and an honorable peace with Israel).
Since we judge whether a war is won by whether or not the political objectives were achieved in any meaningful way (this is for the retard who doesn't realize we lost in Vietnam because we failed to achieve our political objective when the NVA occupied Saigon - the body count ratio doesn't matter - we actually have learned this lesson, despite our failings in Iraq), we'd have to count some of Israel's wars as a draw, particularly the 1973 and 1982 wars.
The withdrawal from Gaza, while politically and strategically sensible, was also a kind of defeat, since at least some of the Israelis assert a political goal of occupying the biblical borders of the land of Israel, Eretz Israel.
Inevitably, I think Israel will have to withdraw from the Occupied Territories. Whether the final map will look exactly as it did before the 1967 is doubtful. Some Israeli settlements in the West Bank will probably end up being permanent, and in exchange, Israeli will probably need to cough up some pre-1948 land to the Palestinian Authority.

Brenda, America has never lost a war..The clostest thing to loosing a war was Vietnam and we won EVERY battle in Nam..For every 1 American that died there were 20 Communist that died, its a fact.
The only reason America left is because it wasnt there fight, It started out w/ just aiding S. Vietnam w/ supplies and then it started to escalade and the Democrats brainwashed Americans through the media and made them think we were loosing.
We didnt loose, It escaladed into something America didnt want to be apart of so we left.

As long as there are superstitious/religious people who subscribe to the belief that the fall of Israel will mean the apocalypse, there will always be someone to defend it.
You wouldn't want some white guy with a beard who lives in clouds and who can single handedly flood the entire world in forty days mad at you now would you?

Since there is no such country as Isreal, yes.
If you mean Israel, then no. Any country can lose a war.

They may never lose a war but with all the terrorist activity they leave behind it is quite obvious that they will never win one either.
