wash your face less often.
moisturize, even if you feel you don't need it. (your skin doesn't produce as much oil this way.)
use something like celan and clear oil absorbing sheets. (if you are cheap, they are made out of the same stuff as toilet seat covers, so you could just buy those.)
Good Luck.

i can help, ok fatty foods is not the problem, the only way its a problem is if u eat greasy food and it gets on ur face, but some foods do cause breakouts, sum ppl say it doesnt but 4 me acidy foods cause breakouts so i stopped drinking orange juice, and all that stuff and i hardly evr hav breakouts so if ur skin still breaks out after u do what i say below then mayb that has somethin 2 do with it, and washing ur face too much causes ur face to create more oil! now,
-wash ur face once in the morning and once before bed with a face cleanser that is oil-free and helps get rid of acne then
-use clearasil ultra pads on ur face after u wash it, these work GREAT!
-once a week use a clay mask
-and just that will give wonders to ur skin but remember, sometimes skin breakouts happen, its apart of getting older,
-also try proactiv if that doesnt work\
also if u dont have blemishes, u may b wondering what is hse talking about BUT i found that alot of this above does the same for oily skin, Especially the clearasil ultra pads, they can help relieve oliy skin whether u have blemishes or not!

Actually research shows fatty foods do not contribute to oily skin, it can be heredity and hormones. If you over wash your skin, it can strip too much oil and cause your skin to get more oily. If you use mild soap or cleanser with mild warm water might help, Neutrogena is good. And my doctor even said to use dove soap, that is what I use now. Get a clay mask, use once/twice a week will help, you might even get a cleanser with a gentle scrub for preventing blackheads. Alot of people have used ProActive, that might be something you can look into also.

Foods rarely make a difference in what your skin type is. At your age, the oils being produced by the glands in your skin are really due to hormones and genetics. Try not washing your face so often, as all of that friction as well as the harhness of the soap can irritate your skin and cause acne. Two times a day tops. I recommend gently cleansing your face with a deep cleansing acne wash, using your fingers, in a circular motion. Follow up with a toner, and moisturizer designed for oily skin types. Your skin is probably not as bad as you think it is. Relax, it'll get better with time.

Only wash your face once or twice a day with a moisturizing face wash. I know that sounds strange, but it works. By washing too much you are drying your face. Here is another strange fact: Water dries your skin out. Especially hot water. It may take some time for your skin to adjust, but as you start to moisturize more, your face will produce less oil.
Oil absorbing paper is a good short term solution. That will help while your skin is adjusting to the new wash routine.
Everytime you wash your face, put moisturizer on. It sounds backwards, but it really does work.

First off, I would suggest buying handmade soap instead of the detergent bars sold on the mass market. I would look for handmade soap with some clay in it as that is very good for oily skin. You can find this kind of soap online, just do a search and you will have tons of choices available to you.
Secondly, I would suggest moisterizing your face, immediately after washing, with clean and simple olive oil. Just a little on your fingers, massaged into your face will do wonders!
Keep up this regiment and you will see a major change in about a week, though you will see minor changes as soon as you start doing this.
Remember, natural and gentle is best for our skin. Good luck!

Try the Blue corn 3 in 1 deep cleansing scrub mask from the body shop. Apply it to your whole face and wait about 10 mins., then wash it all off. It really works, try it! Use it once a week.
(Note: It's not just for girls)

do you wash your face with hot or cold water? how long has your face been oily? if you don't eat to much fatty foods it could just be because of your hormones. have you tried not washing your face or cutting down on how much you wash your face?
have you tried any treatments, like clairasol? or scrubs and microderm abrasion? at home?
