what other disease can fish get besided fin rot and ick?

Question

I dont know what is wronge with my fish they look like they
have fin rot but thier sides are turrning brown i have had
to cleaner fish die and now my betta is really sick my
gold fish had fin rot about a mo ago but i tought i had got
rid of it with the meds i was giving them plz help.

Goldfish and tropicals in the same tank, shame on you. Goldfish are coldwater fish and need 60-65 degrees. Tropicals need 72-78 degrees. There is no happy medium. The wrong temp causes lots of stress and the fish's immune system suffers. Get the temp right for the fish you have and hope the medication helps. Mela-Fix is good stuff.

Also, if you don't do partial water changes every week, that will cause all kinds of problems. Ammonia, nitrate and nitrite build up and are very toxic to the fish. 25-30% fresh water every week is the perscription for good health once you get the sickness cured.

also did u do a water change after these fishes got sick or died.

melafix and pimafix are probably ur best bet for fungus infections.

maybe the fish are dirty. you should buy a new cleaner fish
