DO NOT try to move an accident victim yourself. If you have a cell phone ( and who doesn't) call 911 immediately. And don't leave the scene unless it's necessary to get help.

STOP. Call the police 911 immediate. If you leave the scene of an accident you immediately could increase the charge from an accident to a felony by leaving the scene.
Don't move the victim or you could cause more hard. Cover the person to help reduce shock. And pray!

stay with the victim, call the police immediately
If you leave the scene, you will be charged with hit and run and they will more than likely find you. Depending on how badly the victim is injured they could charge you with attemted murder as well, they like to do that to people that run.
Hitting someone at night rarely brings any charges to the driver, unless it's a well lit intersection and the pedestrian is legally crossing at a crosswalk, so theres really nothing to worry about.

if you leave the scene and someone is able to give info then thats like oh 10 years in jail- I would recommend assisting them to the hospotial by calling 911. Though Hitting a pedestrain is a pretty serious crime - But you can claim is was an accident and ask for a lighter sentence.

You would do the same thing you would do in the day. That is to call for help. do NOT EVEN TOUCH THE PERSON. This same thing happened to a friend of mine, he thought he was doing the "right thing" by taking the person to the hospital. He got SUED and had to pay a ton of money. The attorneys said he injured the victim more when he moved him

Stay with the victim..... Don't move Him/her. Someone would soon come around and possibly have a cell or go get help for you. Never leave the person. Someone else could come along and really finish the poor victim for good.

I am not sure what the law says where you are. But I would ask myself. "If it were me that had been hit by the car, what would I want that person to do for me" then I would follow my own advice. That works in many situations.
That assumes there is no way of calling for help without leaving the scene

call 911 and report the incident whether they appear hurt or not....never move an obvisously injured person as you can possibly make the injury worse....however, if you fail to make a report, they can always claim one a day or two later thus making you liable for fictitious injuries and believe me attorneys and doctors are good at milking these kinds of cases plus you set yourself up for hit and run, failure to stop and render aid, etc., an entire laundry list of civil and criminal actions you really don't want to have to deal with.
