that is a question that I am sure has an answer somewhere.
quote "dreaming is an overwhelmingly visual experience for sighted people. About half of all dreams also have auditory sensations, but in two large-scale studies less than one percent had gustatory, olfactory, or tactual sensory references (Snyder, 1970; Zadra, Nielsen, & Donderi, 1998). Kerr (1993) suggests that the extremely visual nature of dreams may be why many people wonder if blind people even dream. This wonderment may explain why the presence or absence of visual imagery in the dreams of the blind has been of scientific interest since the early nineteenth century. A series of questionnaire and interview studies since that time have led to four empirical generalizations (Kirtley, 1975):"

I am not blind, but I'm sure they see images in their minds as well as you or I. Blind people from birth usually have an uncanny sense of how our world looks, they can describe in great detail, and accuracy what it looks like.
You might also ask the question, can a deaf man make music? The answer is YES! Some of the greatest music ever written was by a deaf man.

Anybody can dream...blind or not. A dream is pretty much a movie playing inside your head. It doesn't have anything to do with if the person remembers, sees, or forgets the dream in the morning.

I have a Aunt and Uncle that are blind. When they dream they said they see things the way the brain interprets it to them, accordingly. When they feel something or someone is talking to them and describing something, they visualize their own interpretation. Of course its probably not exactly what we see, but sometimes its very close. The brain is very powerful. And regardless of seeing, they still have a imagination that concludes what they think something might look like.

We dream because of what we see. As blind people, when they dream, they have their own vision. Dreaming of color is out of question. However, they may dream differently from us. It could be the same. They may see more clear than you and I are dreaming.

i was wondering the same thing just the other day i think their dreams are interpretations of what they think things look like. I've got a blind aunt she bought a pair of shoes the other day then took them back because she said she didn't like them, i wondered how she didnt like them cos she couldnt see them but i guess their sense of feeling is stronger than people who can see to compensate for their loss

Ask someone who was born blind. It might wake you up to how others feel.

i don't know--you'd have to ask a blind person. but i'd doubt that they DID see, becase their mind and body isn't accustomed to the visual triggers as normal-sighted people are.
but i really don't know--sorry.
